At the tender age of 3 Addy was diagnosed with a severe, intractable type of epilepsy called Lennox Gastaut Syndrome. She is now a vibrant and happy 8 year old girl trying her best to fit in to a world that doesn’t fit her. Each day is a struggle to retain knowledge and develop friendships. She struggles to express herself and function as most normal children would. We see her true self locked away deep inside and ache for her to be free again.

Her prognosis is continued cognitive decline and loss of physical abilities. Our greatest hope for cannabis is to stop that decline, even improve it! We want our Addy to come back to us. Some may say she has a stubbornness about her. We believe that stubbornness is her ever valiant spirit fighting to be whole again. Something she and all children suffering from epilepsy deserve.
